NUMERA

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 14, 2026

Numera (numeraapp.com) is a numerology application that unifies Pythagorean, Chaldean, Kabbalistic, and Chinese numerological traditions. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle information.

What We Store

You can use most of Numera without an account, and nothing is stored on our servers until you create one. Once you do, this is what we hold:

  • Your email address — for sign-in and essential emails
  • Your name, if you enter one
  • Your birth date — every number in the app is derived from it, so it is stored on our servers rather than only in your browser
  • Readings you save — bookmarks, and saved timing, words, property and compatibility results
  • Your daily reflections — the note and rating you write against a date
  • Your compass entries — what you noticed, the phrase you wrote, and the line you finished the day with
  • Your threads — the desire, the obstacle you named, your if-then plan, and every proof you logged
  • Voice recordings, if you choose to record them on the Speak step — see below
  • Questions and answers you send through the Q&A feature
  • Billing records, if you subscribe — handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your card details.

Your obstacle and if-then plan are kept in a separate table from the rest of a thread, so that no future sharing feature can expose them by accident. They are visible only to you and are never sent to our AI provider.

You can delete a compass entry from the app itself. To delete your account and everything listed above, contact us and we will remove it.

What We Do Not Collect

  • We do not track you across other websites, and we do not build advertising profiles
  • We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking. The cookies we set keep you signed in, and nothing else.
  • We do not sell, share, or monetize any user data
  • We do not record your location. If you use a feature that asks for it, it is used once, in your browser, and never sent to us or written down.

Voice Recordings

The Speak step lets you say your phrase out loud instead of tapping a counter. Recording is optional and the step works completely without it — if you decline the microphone, or your browser has none, you tap six times as before and the day counts exactly the same.

A recording is a different kind of information from a date or a phrase, so it is worth being precise about what happens to it.

  • What is captured — up to six clips, five seconds each, only on the Speak step, only when you press record. Nothing is captured in the background and nothing is captured continuously.
  • Where it is kept — a private storage bucket. It is not public, it is not indexed, and it cannot be reached by a link alone. Playback uses a signed link that expires within minutes.
  • Who can hear it — you. Recordings are scoped to your account and there is no sharing feature for them.
  • How long we keep it — 30 days. After that a scheduled job deletes the audio file and the record of it. You do not have to do anything.
  • Deleting — you can delete one take, all takes on the Speak screen, or every recording you have ever made from your profile. All three delete the audio file itself, not just our record of it.
  • Consent — we ask before your first recording and store the date you agreed. It is not bundled into signing up and it is not buried in settings.
  • Signed out, nothing is recorded at all — the microphone is only available once you have an account, so there is no anonymous audio.

What we do not do with it. Recordings are not transcribed. They are not analysed, scored, or run through the numerology in any way — the ciphers work on the words you type, never on your voice. They are not sent to our AI provider. They are not used to train anything, ours or anyone else's. The only thing a recording is ever used for is playing it back to you.

That describes what the app does today. If any of it ever changes, this page changes first.

How We Count Usage

We keep a daily tally of how many visitors reached the landing page, how many wrote a phrase, and how many went on to create an account. That tally is three numbers and a date. It contains no identifier, no device information, and none of the text anyone typed, so it cannot be traced back to a person — including by us.

Local Storage

Numera may use your browser's local storage to save bookmarks and preferences. This data remains on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

AI Sacred Reports

When you generate an AI Sacred Report through Numera Premium, your name, birth date and the numbers derived from them are sent to our AI service provider to generate the report. This data is not stored by the AI provider after the report is generated and is not used to train AI models.

Your reflections, your compass entries, the obstacle and proofs inside a thread, and any voice recordings are never sent to the AI provider.

Social Media Presence

Numera maintains a presence on social media platforms including Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok. When you interact with our social media content (comments, likes, shares), that interaction is governed by the respective platform's privacy policy. We may use automated tools to manage our social media content and respond to comments.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand general usage patterns (such as which pages are most visited). We do not use analytics tools that track individual users across the web or build advertising profiles.

Third-Party Services

Numera integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

  • Database and authentication provider (this is where everything under “What We Store” is held)
  • Payment processing (for Premium subscriptions)
  • AI service provider (for generating Sacred Reports)
  • Hosting provider (for serving the web application)
  • Email provider (for sign-in links and any daily emails you opt into)

We select third-party providers that align with our commitment to user privacy.

Children's Privacy

Numera is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of Numera after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
